Vacations of the Brave isn't a typical travel show, we worked with inspirational Americans to tell their stories of personal transformation with Canada as the backdrop. The series showcases journeys taken by a transgender father and daughter; an ice-cream store owner who only employs people with special needs; a fashion designer with a philanthropist’s heart; a deaf singer-songwriter and activist; a former foster child who is now helping other kids in the system; and a movie producer who gives terminally ill kids the chance to make their dream film.
